Hello all, welcome to this course. Probably you have already seen me in the welcome video, my name is Javier Bracchiglione, and I am one of the organisers of this course. I am currently located at Barcelona, Spain, working with the Barcelona GRADE Centre and the Iberoamerican Cochrane Centre.

As organisers of this course, we hope you will learn the basics from the overall GRADE approach. First, you will see some introductory topics and you will learn about the basics of the GRADE methodology. Then, you will learn about topics related to the certainty of evidence and the recommendation-making process. In the final part of the course, you will learn some specific topics about multiple comparisons, diagnostic tests, adaptation or adoption of recommendations, and related initiatives.

We think that this course will give you a solid background to start using the GRADE approach. We hope you enjoy it, and feel free to ask us anything here!

    Kind regards,

    Javier Bracchiglione
